This particular Dollikin has the "Side-Part" hairstyle in short up-swept curls. Some of the Dollikins came with
pierced ears and some did not. There are slight differences in the shapes of Dollikins hands and faces, manufactured over
this short period. Some Dollikins have larger hands than others - please see photo. Dollikins were made with different eye
colors, hair colors, and hair styles. ALL Dollikins have rooted hair. Some have the Widow's Peak in front, some have blue
eye-shadow, and some have heavy black eye-liner in the corners of their eyes. ALL eyelashes are the stiff horse-hair type.
Notice the difference in the size of the hands. The one on the right is larger than the one on the left. And, beleive
it or not, this sloppy manicure is mint from the factory. Some dolls were manufactured with BOTH painted finger-nails and
toe-nails, and some dolls were produced with just painted finger-nails and paint-free toenails. Lots of differentiations in
these gals, but fun to compare.
Close-up of Blondish-Red-haired Dollikin with pierced ears. Notice the side-part (fully rooted) and slight widow's peak.
Close-up of pretty red-haired Dollikin. Her hair is NOT a carrot-red, but more a subtle auburn. This one has bangs.
Brunette Dollikins with Bangs. This gal has had a shampoo and re-style due to the condition of her previous aspiring hair-dresser.
Pierced ears and small hands.
Re-Wigged Brunette Dollikins who's poor hair was like straw (even after shampooing and conditioning). Pierced ears, small
hands.
This is another re-wigged BLACK-haired Dollikin who had the widow's peak. She was originally a ballerina. No piereced ears
and larger hands. This doll also has the heavy black eye-liner in the outer corners of her eyes. A note of interest on some
of the darker-haired Dollikins: This gal arrived with a VERY dark facial complexion. Folks have said it is because the dye
from the dark hair has "bled" into the vinyl. Her face is a much different color than her hard-plastic body.
